Artist's rendition of Masdar City (courtesy www.greenprohpet.com). Masdar City, which is community centered around urban sustainability, served as one of the chief inspirations for Drexel C.O.R.E. The city is focused on trying to become the first community with zero carbon-footprint. Learn more at www.masdarcity.ae.

Atlantis, although a mythological city, also inspired our design. The circular layout is similar to the layout we have designed for Drexel C.O.R.E (photo courtesy www.utopianist.com).

A final community that inspired our design was that of the Pueblo Indians. The Pueblo Indian communities are notable for their ingenious architecture and city layout (seen in photo above from www.destination360.com) as well as for the longevity of their communities.
